Jason, Jay’s son, has been a Bedrock employee since he was big enough to pick up nails around his dad’s construction sites. After getting his first toolbelt at age 10, Jason has worked his way from carpenter, to crew leader, to Vice President of Bedrock Remodeling. Jason successfully manages schedules, job estimates, company payroll, construction projects, and more. Jason earned his Associate Degree with a focus in mechanical engineering. Jason and his wife have two young boys and live in Baltimore County. When Jason isn’t working, he enjoys hunting, camping, attending church, and spending time with his family.
In 1996, Jay took his passion and skill for construction and started a small company with just four employees. Through client recommendations, Jay has grown Bedrock Remodeling into a successful remodeling and renovation company that employs several construction crews working throughout many parts of Maryland. His success as a small business owner can be attributed to his dedication to customer satisfaction, knowledge of the trades, passion for high-quality work, and dogged work ethic. When Jay isn’t running Bedrock Remodeling, he loves to hunt and spend time with his family, including his two children and three grandchildren.
In 2001, Chris moved to Baltimore to pursue a career in education. As much as he loved teaching, his passion for architecture and real estate took over and within a couple of years, Chris bought his first property. From there, Chris teamed up with Bedrock Remodeling to create Urban Space Developers, a small real estate company with a goal of purchasing, designing, renovating, and selling homes throughout Baltimore and its surrounding counties. Fueled by the success of this company, Chris and his partners launched Urban Phoenix Properties and began a successful property management company. Chris lives in Baltimore County and he and his wife of 20 years have their hands full raising three kids with countless after school activities and sports. In his free time, Chris enjoys riding his bike and competing in local bike races. Chris has spent several years involved in neighborhood leadership and currently volunteers as a coach within the LTRC travel basketball program.
